


There are also some known issues with this build, but plenty of fixes as well: If you get impatient and restart or mess with locking/unlocking your phone, you’ll wind up in a funky state – so just relax and let it do its thing. There is a post-upgrade migration status screen missing, which normally would show you that it was making progress. Please be patient and let it sit – eventually the date and time will appear and it will allow you to unlock your phone.

Should you choose to upgrade to build 10136, Microsoft has stressed the following information:Īt the end of the upgrade the Lock screen will appear frozen without the date and time for up to 10 minutes. You also have the option of remaining on build 10080, and Microsoft expects the next build will have the migration issue fixed. Once you’re running 8.1 again, you can select the Insider Fast from the Windows Insider app on your device.
